    Question page: answers, Eva, versions

How to work on a single question — editing your draft, using Eva, saving versions, and working with your team.

Open any question from the project page to reach the question editor — this is where you write and refine your answer, chat with Eva, review older versions, and collaborate with your team.

    The answer editor

    • The editor occupies the main area of the page. Write or paste your answer directly, or generate a draft using the Generate button.
    • Drafts from Bulk answer generation appear here automatically: review and refine them before marking the question complete.
    • The editor auto-saves as you type. You can also save manually. Each save creates an entry in the version history.

    Generating a single draft

    • Use the Generate button (or equivalent) on the question page to request a draft for this question alone.
    • Single-question generation uses the same Content Vault and Customisation settings as Bulk answer generation.
    • If a draft already exists, generating again will create a new version: the old draft is preserved in version history and can be restored.

    Eva

    • Eva opens below the question text on the question page. On desktop it sits to the right of the editor; on mobile it slides up as a panel.
    • Eva draws on your Content Vault, your Customisation settings, and your Standing Instructions to give you relevant, grounded suggestions.
    • You can upload a file directly to Eva if you have a document you want Eva to use for that conversation — for example, a client brief or reference document. Wait for the upload to finish before asking Eva to work with it.
    • Use New Conversation when the chat has grown long and responses feel slow. Starting fresh does not affect your saved answer.
    • See the Eva article for more detail on getting the best from it.

    Version history

    • Every save creates a version. Open the Versions tab (or Version history panel) to see a timeline of all saved drafts.
    • Click a version to preview its content and compare it with the current draft.
    • Use Restore (or Revert) to replace the current editor content with an older version. The previous current version is itself saved as a new version before the restore, so nothing is lost.
    • Version history is particularly useful after bulk generation: you can compare the AI's output against any edits you have made.

    Question status

    • The status badge on the question page shows the current state. Click it to open a dropdown and change it.
    • Not Started: no work has begun yet.
    • In Progress: a draft exists but is not yet finished.
    • Ready for Review: the answer is ready for a colleague to check.
    • Needs Attention: the AI flagged insufficient material, or a team member flagged it manually. Review what is missing, add relevant vault documents if needed, then regenerate or write the answer manually.
    • Completed: the answer is finalised and ready to include in the response.

    Question sidebar

    • The sidebar on the right of the question page has tabs scoped to this question: About (status and source info), Team, Tasks, Comments, Versions, and Activity.
    • Use Tasks for any actions needed before this question can be finalised.
    • Use Comments for question-specific discussion with your team.

    Navigating between questions

    • A navigation bar is fixed to the bottom of the screen showing Previous and Next question buttons and a 'Question X of Y' counter.
    • Click the counter in the centre to return to the project page.
    • You can also use Alt + Left / Right arrow keys as a keyboard shortcut to move between questions.
